Implement a pseudo delete

You could look at implementing a pseudo delete by catching QueryDocumentDelete at the database level and add a flag to the doc (e.g Tombstone="1") that causes it to drop out of all views apart from the ones in which you would like it displayed. This only traps UI deletes and not NotesDocument.remove calls, so it may or may not suite your requirements.
You would need an agent to run through your pseudo deleted documents and remove them permanently at some point ?
